Note Jane Tilton daughter of John Tilton and Sarah Gibbs was born Dec 1 1741 and Married John Tilton, son of Daniel Tilton of Middletown NJ. John came to Martha's Vineyard about 1762 and remained about 20 years, then moved to Vassalboro, Maine and died there. Jane was his second wife, his first wife was Martha Young, who was born Nov 21 1727 and died 1761, John and Martha's daughter, Katharine Tilton born March 3 1761 married November 11 1779 Vinal Skiffe.
