Wayman A. Tilton, 78, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1994, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

Born Feb. 21, 1916, in LaHarpe to Fred and Mamie Long Tilton, he married Ruby Faye Tharp on Dec. 29, 1934, in Kahoka, Mo.

He was preceded by his wife and one brother.

Surviving are his mother of Macomb; two sons, Jerry and Gary; one sister, Mary Neil.

A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Carthage.

He was a carpenter for Galesburg Construction Co.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.
