Enoch Tilton, fourth son and youngest child of Benjamin and Mary (Green) Tilton was born 17 September 1767 at Hampton Falls, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.

Enoch married twice, the first being Mary "Molly" Tilton, daughter of Lieutenant Caleb and Mary (Prescott) Tilton. They married 30 January 1789.

To this union seven children were born:
1. Fanny Tilton (1790-____)

3. Caleb Tilton (1795-1876)
4. Mary "Polly" (Tilton) Harvey (1797-1884)
5. Jemima (Tilton) Hoyt (1799-1877)

7. Enoch Tilton (1804-1897)

Mary "Molly" (Tilton) Tilton died 11 February 1814 at Chichester, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

Enoch married second, Nancy (Dearborn) Pike, daughter of Major Josiah and Sarah (Freese) Dearborn and widow of Benjamin Pike, 06 November 1816 at Chichester, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.

To this union one child was born:

Deacon Enoch Tilton died 16 February 1846 at Chichester, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

Nancy (Dearborn) (Pike) Tilton died 09 October 1855 at Chichester, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
