Daniel married Patience Tibbets, daughter of William Tibbets and Mrs. William Tibbets, about 1796 in Methune, Essex, Massachusetts, United States. (Patience Tibbets was born in 1775 in , , Maine, United States and died in 1847 in , Morgan, Ohio, United States.)
