Lakewood Citizen, Friday December 13,1940:

"Mrs Georgianna Tilton, widow of Edwin R Tilton, 102 Harding Road, Red Bank, died Sunday morning at Amityville, L I, where she had been for three months. She had been in failing health for some time.
Mrs Tilton was born at Lakewood, daughter of the late James J and Adeline Mount White. Her husband, who was a gold leaf manufacturer in Red Bank, for many years, died in April, 1932. She was an active member of the Red Bank First Methodist Church for a number of years.
Mrs Tilton is survived by a son, Russell A Tilton, New York City; two grandchildren, Mrs Helen McKeon and Russell A Tilton, Jr, of New York City; two sisters, Mrs Margaret Horner, Atlantic City, and Mrs R E Stanwood, Syracuse, NY; and two brothers, Walter White, Lakewood, and Frank White, Point Pleasant.
Service was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Worden Funeral Home, Red Bank, with the Rev Albert L Baner, superintendent of the New Brunswick district Methodist conference and a former pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the family plot at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown".
