William Vernon Greenlee served in WW-II in the United States Navy.

William was a solid citizen. He was married in Lawton, OK to Jessie I. Tilton. He loved flying and received his Commercial Flying License in Fort Worth Texas.
He was a long time standing member of the National Geographic Society.
He served with the Lawton Civil Defense for 15 years. Was a part of the Lawton Sheriff Department as a Deputy Sheriff. He went to the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK and received his degree in Radiological Monitoring which enabled him to become an instructor for his speciality work at Fort Sill, OK.
William was a EM2/c in the United States Navy. He was inducted into the service at Lawton, OK and received his boot training at Farragot, Idaho, Staten Island, N.Y. and Norfork, Va. He served in the Southwest Pacific on the USS Satyr, ARL-23. He served during World War II and some of the places he served were Tokyo via Panama, San Diego, Cal., Hawaii, Saipan and Guam just to name a few.
