When John and Samuel sold inheritances each deed mentioned "subjecct to dower of present wife of Abraham Tilton, widow of Nathan Raynes, my mother-in-law (meaning step-mother).

Abraham married Anne Wife # 2 Tilton (Raynes) on 25 Apr 1763 in Wakefield Carroll New Hampshire. (Anne Wife # 2 Tilton (Raynes) was born in 1708 in Ipswich Essex Mass and died in 1781 in York Maine.)

Abraham next married Margaret Wife # 3 Tilton (Dow). (Margaret Wife # 3 Tilton (Dow) was born in 1733.)

Abraham next married Susannah Harris #1, daughter of John Harris and Anna Harris, on 14 Aug 1728 in Ipswich Mass. (Susannah Harris #1 was born in 1706 in Ipswich Mass. and died in 1762 in Ipswich Mass..)
