Dixie B. Tilton, 7,1 of Melbourne passed away Friday, January 21, 2005 in Calico Rock. He was born September 30, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Ray Eugene Tilton and Hazel Lorene Poindexter Tilton. He was a crane operator and engineer in the construction business. He is survived by his wife, Maria Carmelita (Sauerzopf) Tilton of the home; one son, David Tilton of Washington; three daughters, Catherine Sauerzopf of Everett, Washington, Victoria Tilton of Washington, Linda Tilton of Washington; three brothers, Richard Tilton of Washington, Ronnie Tilton of Oklahoma, and Danny Walker of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters, Dorothy Blake of Melbourne and Sharon Vaile of Melbourne; six grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister. A private memorial service will be at a later date.
