Parents not known to us, but a descendant of Count Burrelle who owned estates
in France.
Married Rachel Springer, soon after close of Revolutionary War.
Children: Nancy, Harriet R, Frances P, Nathaniel, Levi P, Almond H.
Died Oct 14, 1842,
Athens, O. Bur West State St. Athens, O. West side near the fence. MI : "Nathaniel Burrell, born at Abington, Mass, May 21, 1761, died Oct 14, 1842. He served four terms of enlistment in the Revolutionary Army." GM first by youngest son, Almond H, sandstone, and fell to pieces ; second, by descendent Almond Rochester Burrell, New Lexington, O. Date of marking ; 1st unknown ; 2nd Sept 19, 1922.

When he first offered to enlist, being but 4 ft. 4 in. tall, he was refused. He put "rags" in his boots till his head touched the peg at 4 ft 4 in. He was accepted. Farming; received a grant of land. He came to Ohio in 1838 or 39 to live with his son, Almond H. the youngest.
