General Notes: Nathaniel was Justice of the Peace for 8 years. a justice of the Superior Court for 4 years; He succeeded his elder brother, Col. Peter Weare, as Speaker of the Assembly in 1727, and was reelected in April 1728, but yielded to Governor Wentworth's hostility and withdrew. He dealt in real estate in Maine. Nathaniel married Mary Waite on 24 Aug 1703 in New Hampshire. (Mary Waite was born in 1675 in New Hampshire and died on 26 Feb 1754 in Seabrook Rockingham New Hampshire.) |
