Obituary for Don R. Tilton
Don R. Tilton, 66, died October 23, 2008, at his home, surrounded by family, of a brain malignancy. He was born in Summit, Arkansas, the son of the late James Henry and Lily Edna (Burns) Tilton, and lived in Micco, FL, since 1989, coming from Ft. Lauderdale. He attended Roseland United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and, before retirement, worked as a Project Manager in utilities engineering for both Broward County, Ft. Lauderdale, and more recently, Professional Engineering Consultants, Inc., Orlando, FL. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Barbara Fairfax Tilton, sons, Keith Tilton (Cindy), and Kevin Tilton (Elina),all of Micco, brothers William Max Tilton, Fayetteville, AR, John Tilton, Huntsville, AR, CC Tilton, Yellville, AR, and sister, Betty Philips, Leslie, AR. Additionally, he will be missed by his sisters-in-law, Ann Rowe, Jean Koss, and Joyce Pearce, all of Micco. Memorial contributions may be made to Roseland United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 157, Roseland, FL 32957 At the familyÂ?s request there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held. Arrangements by Seawinds Funeral Home with burial in Sebastian Cemetery, Sebastian, FL.
