They have three daughters, Janice Mitchell and her husband, Gene, Betty Jackson and her husband, Larry, and Carolyn Goddard and her husband, Scot; and they enjoy their eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Adron Tilton and Helen Farmer were married Easter Sunday, April 21, 1946, in Harrison, Ark. Patricia Lillian McGee and William Louis asinski were married April 21, 1956, at Zion -utheran Church in St. Louis, Missouri. The couple has three children and five !;randchildren. Their children include, Karen asinski of Springfield, Bill and Heidi Jasinski of Springdale, Arkansas, and Steve and Rhonda Jasinski of Springfield. The grandchildren are, Chris, Katherine, Willie, Jack, and Michael. (Birthdaus Happy 90th Birthday April 29th Carroll J. and Dorothy Melton, Springfield, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise open house reception on April 29, 2006, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Quality Inn-Chesterfield Village, hosted by their children. The omission of gifts is requested, but cards are welcome. Carroll served as a corporal in the U.S. Marines (Reserves) from 1955-1963, worked for 40 years at KresgeKMart Corp, and has been working for CoxHealth for 11 years. Dorothy worked for 30 years at Burger King and is a homemaker. The couple enjoys attending craft shows and garage sates. Carroll and Dorothy have three children, Janet Melton and Jerry Delcour, Clever, Russell and Jennifer Melton, Rogersville, and Randall Melton, Springfield; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren with two on the way. Carroll J. Melton and Dorothy May Ray were married in a double ring ceremony on April 30, 1956, in Northwest Baptist Church, Springfield, by Rev. Russell Ward. The best man was Ray Melton and the maid of honor was Helen Mesimer. Leroy and Judy Morisset TTv Allison Dru Smenner and Michael William Chabot were married February 18, 2006, at Faunbrook Bed & Breakfast, West Chester, Pennsylvania. Parents of the bride are Marcia Smenner, Springfield, Mo., and Ray Smenner, St. Petersburg, Fla. The groom is the son of Raymond and Elvira Chabot, Enfield, Conn. The bride wore a cream-colored sleeveless evening gown and carried a bouquet of tulips. The maid of honor was Hillary Smenner Childers and the best man was Todd Siedor. Following a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The bride attended Missouri State University and earned a Ph.D. at Temple University. She is a clinical psychologist in Rehab Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and in private practice, The groom is a clinical social worker at Bayside State Prison and in psychotherapy private practice. They are expecting their first child later this year. Anniversaries 9To ft Dillard and Betty Wright m ex. Leroy and Judy Morisset were married April 22, 1956, in Ava, Mo., at the Methodist Church, by Rev. Paul Mayfield. A reception in their honor of 50 years of marriage will be at a later date, hosted by their son, Michael of Springfield, Mo.; daughter and son-in-law, Carrie Beth and Nathan Bowie; and their grandchildren, Katherine and Shawn Bowie of Greenebrier, Arkansas. T Ray & Margie Segrist Ray Segrist and Margie Sanderson were married April 27, 1946, in Basehor, Kansas, by Rev. Harry Imhof. They are celebrating their 60th anniversary this year. Ray was a Sergeant in the Army during World War II, a school administrator and college professor and an ordained minister. Margie was a school teacher and nurse. The couple has six sons, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary Duncan will be honored with a 90th birthday celebration on Sunday, April 30, 2006. The event will be held at the Elfindale Lodge Dining Room at 1601 S. Fort Ave., Springfield, from 2 to 3 p.m. Friends are welcome. Omission of gifts is requested. Dillard, as a young solidier returning home from service in World War II, swept a 16 year ' old Betty off her feet and they eloped to Girard, Kansas, on April 20, 1946. From this union they were blessed with three children, Gary ana wife, Kathy, Spring-field, Charlotte and husband, Jim Tracy, Strafford, and Randy and wife, Julie, Springfield; six grandchildren, Melanie Meyer and husband, James, Nick Wright, Russ Tracy and wife, Michelle, Tammy Campbell and husband, Bryan, and Tyler and Jordan Wright. They also have four great-grandchildren, Chandler Meyer, Coral Tracy and Braden and Bryce Campbell.
