James married Cicely Thayer, daughter of John Thayer and Joan Lawrence, on 11 Jun 1618 in Thornbury, Gloucester, England. (Cicely Thayer was christened on 1 May 1600 in Thornbury, Gloucester, England and died on 28 May 1673 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts, United States.)
