braham Allee received the eastern half of the "home plantation" and added to it the tracts, "Hillyard's Adventure, "Barren Hope", "Pasture Point", and "Galway". He was also active in the public affairs of northern Kent County. He served as a member of the General Assembly in 1726, was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1738 and was Chief Ranger for Kent County in 1749. On May 8, 1770 he made his will in which he was described as "Abraham Allee, Sr., Gentlemen", of Duck Creek. His heirs were wife, Mary; sons, John and Jonathan: daughters, Mary Carpenter, Sabrah Tilton (wife of Thomas), and grandsons Abraham Allee (son of Jonathan), Abraham Allee (son of John); grandchildren of daughter Mary Carpenter by her first husband, Henry Rothwell; grandchildren Isaac, Abraham, Jacob and Mary, children of son Abraham Allee, deceased, who died in 1766. The will was probated August 20, 1770 by his sons John and Jonathan and son-in-law Thomas Tilton. Family tradition is to the effect that the Allee House was built about 1753, thus its builder was in all probability, Abraham Allee, Sr., Gentleman.
