The body of the late Mr Daniel M Tilton, who died at 730 Monday Morning in Canton after a two week Illness, was brought here Tuesday afternoon, and taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs, Mary Mcmanis, 117. S. Catherine St.
Funeral services at the home of Mrs Mcmanis and burial in Mound View Cemetery. The deceased who was a former resident of Knox Co Ohio was a retired farmer. He was 78 Yrs of age, and is survived by nine children, Mr H. G. Tilton of Akron, Messrs. A. H. and W. R. Tilton and Mrs Alice Pinkley of Canton, Messrs. E. E. and J. H. Tilton of Columbus, Mr Charles S Tilton of Seattle Washington, Mrs Mcmanis and Jennie Mcanis of this City, and a step son, Mr George A Watson of Jelloway.
Mr Tilton was a veteran of the Civil War, and was a member of the G. A. R. MT Zion Lodge No. 9, F and A. M and Clinton Chapter No. 26, R. A. M.

Daniel married Caroline Hagamen Wife # 1, daughter of George Hagamen and Nancy Unknown Hagaman, in 1859 in Knox Co Ohio. Daniel next married Isabella Bell Dunn Wife # 2, daughter of George Dunn and Alice Jane Dodds, in 1872 in Knox Co Ohio.
