Info from Ancestry.com ( FOUND DEAD IN BEAD ) Mrs, Susannah E. Tilton died suddenly she went to bed in her usual health on Sunday night and was found dead by her daughter in law on Munday morning. Mrs. Susannah E. Tilton was found dead in bed on Monday morning at her home on Pearl Street. She was the widow of William Tilton, who was killed about 12 years ago by being thrown out of a Wagon. She was 72 years old and leaves one son, William A. Tilton, who is married, and with whom she made her home. She had suffered with rheumatism for some time, but went to bed on Sunday night in her usual health. During the night she ask for a drink of water two or three times. In the morning she did not come down to breakfast, and it was supposed she had gone to sleep. About ten o'clock her daughter-in-law went to her room and found her dead in bed. the funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at Trinity Church.
Susanna married William Tilton, son of William Tilton and Margaret Corlies, on 15 Jan 1862 in Red Bank New Jersey. (William Tilton was born on 7 Apr 1813 in Monmouth Co New Jersey and died on 10 Apr 1887 in Atlantic City Monmouth NJ.)
